Street Smarts: Biking & Walking Safety
Apr 9, 2019
- This event has passed.
April 9th and 10th. The weather is getting nicer and the bikes are coming out!
The City of Chicago has a program called “Complete Streets, “ whose mission is to ensure that everyone – pedestrians, transit users, bicyclists and motorists – can travel safely and comfortably along and across a street. Bike Ambassadors travel all over the City of Chicago educating people about pedestrian and bicycling safety. They work with Safe Routes Ambassadors in Chicago’s public and private schools, offering educational presentations about walking and bicycling safety.
They will be visiting CGS students in grades 2-4 on Tuesday, April 9th and grades 5-7 Wednesday, April 10th. We look forward to welcoming them.
