The mission of The Chicago Grammar School is to provide children, preschool
through eighth grade, the means to construct knowledge
through experience, within the richness of a classical curriculum, informed
by emerging research. Our educational program is designed to foster life-long learners by developing academic skill and proficiency, intellectual curiosity, personal wisdom and virtue, and responsible participation in society.
Summer at CGS
Chicago Grammar School was pleased to offer our first summer program, which in accordance with our philosophy emphasizes the creation of knowledge through experience. During the summer months, our regular teaching staff provided the same engaging and stimulating learning strategies that provoked and nurtured the children’s curiosity and performance during the school year.
